YSM desarrolla un programa coherente que llega a los jóvenes inscritos en el sistema VET, y les proporciona habilidades, competencias y conocimientos relacionados con la «cultura del creador» y el diseño y la fabricación digitalmente mejorados, como la impresión 3D, el corte por láser, el pensamiento de diseño y la creación de prototipos, a través de un enfoque en cascada en el que se llega a través de sus maestros y escuelas. Esto se hace con el propósito específico y el impacto social de permitirles ponerlos en práctica mediante el desarrollo de un objeto social, artefacto o prototipo que contribuya y alivie los desafíos que enfrentan las personas con necesidades especiales en todas sus vidas.

YSM develops a coherent programme which reaches young people enrolled in the VET system, and provides them skills, competences and knowledge related to the “maker culture” and digitally enhanced design and manufacturing, such as 3D printing, laser cutting, design thinking and prototyping, through a cascaded approach in which they are reached through their teachers and schools. This is done with the specific purpose and social impact of allowing them to put these into practice by developing a social object, artefact or prototype which contributes and alleviates the challenges faced by people with special needs in their every life.
